Neodymium Ring Magnet 30 x 5.5 x 3 mm N35
A neodymium (NdFeB) ring magnet is very strong. It is magnetised in a strong magnetic field during manufacture, providing high magnetic attraction in a compact size. It is much stronger than conventional ferrite magnets and generally has a protective coating because the material can corrode over time. N35 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52. The ring shape is useful for mounting on a shaft or screw, or for precise alignment and guidance. The central hole helps with these applications.
At Ø30/Ø5.5×3 mm, this magnet provides a strong hold for workshop use, assembly, alignment and technical projects. (Ø30/Ø5.5×3 mm) Holding force depends strongly on the thickness and condition of the metal surface. It is greater on thick steel and weaker on thin sheet metal.
Warning: not suitable for children. Swallowed magnets can cause serious injuries. Seek urgent medical attention. Magnets can snap together quickly and pinch fingers. They are hard but brittle, so do not allow them to collide. Keep them away from medical devices, cards and sensitive electronics.
