This handheld magnetic inspection rod is designed for collecting, checking and removing ferromagnetic particles from work areas or directly from processed materials. The stainless-steel tube and strong permanent magnetic system make it useful for collecting swarf, iron filings and other metal residues.
 
It is practical in workshops, production areas and process inspection where powders, granules or bulk materials need to be checked for iron contamination. The collected material can then be removed from the active magnetic surface in a controlled manner.
