The magnetic inspection rod makes it easy to determine quickly whether the material being tested contains magnetic metal such as iron or steel.
 
To use it, bring the magnetic head close to the material to be checked. Iron- and steel-containing pieces are attracted to the magnet, allowing them to be distinguished easily from aluminium, copper, brass and other non-magnetic metals.
 
The pull-out handle makes it easier to remove metal pieces collected on the magnetic head. Similar inspection rods are used for manual checking of scrap metal, plastic granules and various bulk materials.
