Magnetiser / demagnetiser
 
This tool is designed for quickly magnetising or demagnetising small steel tools such as screwdrivers, bits, tweezers and other ferromagnetic components.
 
It is especially useful in servicing, electronics, precision assembly and workshop tasks where it may sometimes be helpful for a tool to hold a screw and at other times preferable for the tool to have no magnetic effect.
 
The result depends on the tool material, geometry and previous magnetisation. When used as intended, it is a simple, fast and effective accessory.
