Magnetic Drum d304 (with Permanent Magnet)
This permanent magnetic drum is designed for integration into conveyor systems and material-transfer points where dry bulk material passes over the drum surface. A multipole permanent-magnet system inside the drum attracts ferromagnetic contaminants while the non-magnetic fraction continues along its normal path.
Captured iron and steel particles are retained in the active magnetic zone and discharged separately as the drum rotates. The system can be used with powders, grain, flour, spices, plastic granules, pellets and other dry bulk materials, depending on drum size and process conditions.
Because the magnetic field is generated by permanent magnets, no electrical power is required to create the magnetic field. Drum diameter, width, shaft design, magnet material and temperature resistance can be customised for the application.
