Rubber-Coated Neodymium Pot Magnet, Diameter: 66 mm, Internally Threaded
The pot magnet construction consists of an NdFeB insert in a purpose-sized steel housing with an outer rubber layer. The steel housing directs the magnetic field, while the rubber coating protects the surface and improves handling. A surface-protecting solution: rubber prevents scratching of paint and helps reduce slipping. Compared with metal-to-metal contact, however, the rubber layer creates a small separation that can slightly reduce perpendicular pull-off force. The internally threaded version allows quick, neat installation and easy repositioning. (Quick specifications: size: 66 mm × 8 mm; internal thread: M6; nominal holding force: 18 kg (180 N); Tmax: 60 °C)
Carry out a trial installation for actual use. Steel thickness, surface flatness and the load type, whether pull-off or shear, determine performance. A good choice where a strong attachment point that protects the steel surface is required, allowing repeated mounting, reduced slipping and quick installation. For applications involving heat, observe the Tmax value in the table. Both the rubber layer and the magnetic insert may be sensitive to heat.
Warning: technical product. Bring magnets together and separate them carefully. Avoid impacts and keep away from electronics and medical devices.
