Rubber-Coated Neodymium Pot Magnet, Diameter: 43 mm, Externally Threaded
Rubber-coated neodymium pot magnet: the steel housing concentrates the magnetic field at the contact surface, while the rubber coating reduces the risk of scratching and improves grip under sideways loads. Rubber primarily protects the surface and reduces slipping. When assessing pull-off force, remember that the coating creates a separation that may affect the maximum pull-off value. The externally threaded version suits holders with an existing thread for quick installation. (Quick specifications: size: 43 mm × 6 mm; external thread: M6; nominal holding force: 8,5 kg (85 N); Tmax: 60 °C)
The holding force depends strongly on the surface and air gap. The rubber coating reduces slipping, but the separation it creates may affect maximum pull-off force. Useful for magnetic attachment that protects the surface, including vehicle bodywork, painted steel, panels and temporary brackets, within the specified load limits. For applications involving heat, observe the Tmax value in the table. Both the rubber layer and the magnetic insert may be sensitive to heat.
Warning: keep away from children. The magnet can pinch fingers and chip or crack on impact. Store with spacers and keep away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices such as pacemakers.
