The DN-80 magnetic separator for liquids, with external heating and automatic cleaning, is a permanent magnetic system designed for the continuous filtration of ferrous impurities from liquids, slurries and other dense flowing materials. The magnetic bars mounted in a stainless steel housing allow the liquid to pass between them, while impurities with ferromagnetic properties are captured and retained even in the very fine particle size range, down to the level of microscopic particles. The model is equipped with an external heating system, therefore it is suitable for materials that thicken or solidify at lower temperatures. Thanks to this, the separator can magnetically filter the product without impairing the flow or causing excessive deposits in the active zone. This type of separator is widely used in the food and beverage industry, chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, recycling, fruit processing and all areas where the cleanliness of the process medium and the protection of equipment are essential. Depending on the design, the system can be manufactured in a manual cleaning or automatic cleaning version. Manual cleaning is suitable for applications where the operator can intervene periodically, while automatic versions are recommended for continuous processes or where the aim is to reduce human intervention. In this design, the separator is designed for continuous operation and controlled removal of collected dirt, reducing downtime and frequent cleaning stops. This version focuses on reliability and easy operation, and is therefore ideal where periodic manual cleaning is acceptable and where a robust, easy-to-maintain design is required.
