Eddy Current - Permanent Magnet Separator for Non-Ferromagnetic Metals
This eddy-current separator is designed to recover conductive non-ferrous metals from mixed material streams. A high-speed magnetic rotor creates a rapidly alternating magnetic field that induces eddy currents in conductive particles.
These induced currents generate a repulsive force that separates aluminium, copper, brass and other conductive non-magnetic metals from passive materials such as plastic, glass, rubber and other non-metallic fractions.
Typical applications include recycling, non-ferrous metal recovery, waste processing and industrial sorting lines. Separation performance depends on belt speed, rotor position, particle size and separator-plate adjustment.
